Definitely time consuming, but looks amazing, so well worth your efforts! Great work man! Also, just letting you know that I am jealous, as I've never been able to make custom vehicles, and for you to make that in the 1/6th scale is pretty insane... ;-)

I'm starting to get totally geeked about the way this is going to look when it's done.

I've never cared about this scale and vehicles, particularly, but I really can't wait to see this done.

I was about to hinge the canopy, but I'm not sure black is the right color. Maybe silver? Or leave it? Or some other color?

Is it smoked plexi or just solid black plastic? If there's no clear to it at all, frost it with blue and gray. Just a single spray to tint it but keeping the black as the main color. Hit it with some satin krylon then a frosting of gloss clear. You should have a decent simulated canopy that has a look like it's clear but with heavy tinting.
