I received my X-Factor box set today in the mail. This is one really nice set! I wish a human Beast had been included, and I could have done without another Apocalypse and Mr. Sinister, though both of those figures look better than the previous releases. I like how Hasbro tried to paint an "A" on Apocalypse's belt.

bithomas, that is the one thing at SDCC that I didn't get for myself. Everytime we went by the EE booth there was a line (not terrible but longer than I wanted to stand in at the time) and thought I'd just hit them up later. Well later came and I still didn't stop. I don't think they sold out at the con but I can't be sure. I know TRU.com sold out of them.

Is that Cyclops shorter than the First Class two-pack version?

That's something that's always bugged me about Cyclops as done by Hasbro. Up until the Jim Lee version, all the figures have been way too short (especially X-Men Origins). And (although I know he bulked up in the comics in the 90s) I always felt the Jim Lee version was a little too massive in terms of musculature for a guy they always called "Slim."

I feel like Cyke is one of the few characters who would actually look good using the v1 Iron Fist torso. At least for his pre-90s appearances.

Not entirely. The lower legs on first class have buccaneer boots whereas the x-factor version doesn't.

Just wondering if that makes a difference in overall height as MU's lower legs are not all created equally, especially in terms of length.

I'll have to check when I get home, but I think they are roughly the same height. My X-Factor Cyclops is a bit hunched over in that picture, which may make him look shorter.

I agree completely. I kind of even hate that Apocalypse mold altogether now. When I get this set I'll order some of the thigh extensions from Onyx and do some torso surgery to to try to make Apocalypse look passable.
Sinister is colored wrong. He's never been colored two-tone black and blue before.

I picked up the She-Hulk/Wolverine pack at TRU, then hit Target and scored the Mandarin/Silver Centurion & Juggy/Colossus packs...skipped the Hulk/Wolverine pack.
