Not to take away from the fantastic Atrocitus that was posted a couple of days ago, but I just finished w/ my own figure of the leader of the Red Corps of Rage in his current DC New 52 suit.

That's really good.

I guess I didn't realize he'd gotten a 52 makeover.

Love the Hal's head, too.

Thanks guys, The Atrocitus head came to my mind the other day when I was molding, and casting the SDCC Tiger Shark head. I had put the shoulder pads for an IM2 figure on an RoC Duke head a couple of years ago. So when I looked close at the TS head, and the DC New 52 Red Lanterns comic I said hey I can make that. So I glued the shoulder pads onto a TS cast, and then sculpted the details down the back of the head.

His look got much simpler in the DC New 52, but I think it was because they were trying to take some of the evil look away from him, and humanize him some. The stories in the Red Lanterns comics really lead you to believe that his motivation is more about being the hand of vengeance for those who can't fight back for themselves. So now instead of a villain he's an antihero.

The Hal Jordan head is one I got from Slayer Dave when I went down to pick up a couple of other heads from him for one of my friends last year. So I'm thinking about asking if he'll mind since he isn't in the business anymore if I cast it for my store.
