ok, since i already did a Xwing/Stystriker for Luke, i need to have a ride for Han and chewie.

I tought of using the c-130 form true heros, but I would like to have something more in line with the look of the original Millenium falcon.

so here a crazy idea i have. Not sure how you feel about this but here goes.

I used an old vintage falcon and mounted the canon and the treads from the grizzly tank. it looks kind of scary ;-)

what do you think ? Am I going in a wrong direction, Should I stick to an "Air ride" ?

That looks really, really busy.. and a heck of an undertaking. I personally would have just gone with the Grizzly tank, or heck even a RHINO or ROCC would have worked. If going by air, Tomahawk? Those are kind of pricy though, not sure what else would work.

Tomahawk with Han standind in the back cargo ramp aiming out the back would look real, real Falcon like.I wonder if you could even modify the bottom area with a hidden cargo section :)

I have a hard time thinking of the Falcon as anything other than an air vehicle... Though because you're using the Patriot Grizzly, it's possible that it could still fly :stupidtank:

It looks like you're using green stuff to join the sea ray cockpit to the Falcon body... I'd suggest using bits of styrene or other tech detail... it'll be easier to maintain the angular and mechanical look of the vehicles...green stuff will tend to look too organic and the joint will stand out.

If you can find one for a good price the Night Attack Chopper would be a good Falcon stand in. It has a good sized cockpit and a roomy cargo area. I started customizing one years ago and removed the hand grip and redid the cargo area with styrene. Took some work but its not too difficult.

Even if you decided to go in a different direction for your 'Verse Falcon, I'd still love to see you finish this project!

To keep it real world like the X-striker I think it needs to be the C-130. But it still needs to be a Cargo/Gunship made for smugglers and mercenaries. It needs some Expendables like add ons and some nose art. Smugglers bays in the rear, custom cannons, maybe a gunner station like the Falcon had, some added missle pods would be great too.

If you're going with the C130 then the gun mounts need to be on the top and bottom, similar to the SW Falcon.

If it's a personally modified cargo ship, maybe you can cover up one side of the windshields, to mimick the Falcon's cockpit being on one side.

I found this image on google:

Maybe try to replicate the circular vents in the back, even if just painted on. Oh, and some goofy radar dish somewhere, that's a must. I think just replicating the different colored painted panals, would go a long way on selling it as the "real world Falcon".
