I really like what you did with both the Batman & the Riddler, especially the capes for Batman. Excellent , excellent job!

Outstanding work, SD. I still can't get over how much you've stepped your game up over the last year or so.

Action cape is off a DCIH "Gotham Knights" batman. So is the neck piece I grafted to the other cape, which is from a Young Justice Batman.

I'd like to find another one of the DCIH capes cheap enough that I could give him a careless look by just using the neck.

great mods on Batman. While I tend to prefer softgoods capes, I must say your approach is fairly brilliant. Riddler is a cool classic look also. Much of this is what DCIH should have been, and I'm glad you upped the ante to this scale from those previous DCIH scaled customs.

I prefer cloth capes for my Bats customs (so I don't have to make swappable ones), but damn this thing rocks and has me re-thinking my whole theory.

How did you make the belt? Is that taken from another figure, or is it a scratch-build/bash?

Riddler's very nice. I'd almost forgotten how fun that costume is, since he's been wearing a coat & tie in most appearances in the past several years.

Everything's perfect on both - probably two of my favorite customs of yours - which is saying a LOT.

Glad you guys dig these.

The belt came off the DCIH "Gotham Knights" Batman. It really is a treasure trove of fodder.

And speaking of DCIH, I went back to that well and cannibalized a fairly hard to come by figure to make a new version of the Joker last night:

The list of stuff I had to do to the original figure is kind of long. Essentially I lengthened the torso with a piece of an MU Bulldozer thigh (which was a great color match to the shirt), lengthened and adapted the neck for a ball socket head using a Star Wars clone trooper. Inerted a Microman t-bar into the crotch and modified the legs to fit it (so he can move them laterally to a degree and get into realistic crouches), adapted the lower legs to take some Cobra Commander feet, adapted the lower arms to handle some MU Bullseye hands, and painted up a Build-n-Brawl head to top it off.

Here he is blasting gas in Batman's face:

And here he is with his gal and a henchman I bashed together for him:

I didn't dislike my old Joker custom, but I really wanted one with that classic comic look. What do you guys think? Mission accomplished?

Great job on your recent batch of customs. If I ever come across another Gotham Knights Batman at a cheap price I will be borrowing heavily from that recipe.I almost made a similar Riddler years ago but went with the suited version instead, Love the look and Weather Wizard's head is a perfect topper.Really like your Joker as well but his henchmen using the MIB coat is awesome.Keep them coming !!!

Thanks guys.

That henchman is one of several generic thugs with swappable heads that I've made.

I'm still working on some of the alternate heads, but I'll post those when they're ready.

All 3 look great together! Never would have thought a Jericho head would work for that but you pullled it off!!
