I think the lack of black/blue pants w/ bloodstripes on the sides might be taking away from the Han look and where people might be seeing the Bespin Luke look. I bet of those were turned into blue jeans, it'd get rid of the Luke look(I personally don't see Luke, only Han in the custom, but thought I'd mention that).
I can see that too. But I think then the point of what I'm doing would be lost, and I'd end up where I was with the Bespin Han at the top of the thread, too close to the movie look to really incorporate into a contemporary setting. I'm not going for literal. It isn't about if he looks like Han. Does he feel like Han? Now I added the red to the black vest to at least give the illuaion of the same colors as if the blood stripes were on the pants. But I didn't want to be too literal.
That was pluv's point with me on Chewie's crossbow, I know - don't be so literal. But for me personally I wanted the crossbow.
Here, on Han - and Chewie too - I felt I had to add some of the green colors to sell their place in my verse, and not just have them looking like they walked in from a long time ago and from a galaxy far away.
(oh, and I know you didn't have a problem with Han's look. I'm just explaining that I really don't want a complete resemblance to the authentic look for this figure, else I would have just repeated the process from my other Han.)
Thanks again!
