Awesome trio! The Jericho head has a great unexpected Jack Nicholson Joker feel to it. Really nice work.

I gave a glimpse of my Joker henchman when showing my new version of the Clown Prince a while back. And I mentioned that I had another in the works. Here's a shot of both in action with their boss, Mister J:

And because Batman is so efficient at nabbing the bad guys and locking them away in Arkham, when Joker's in jail these guys work for whoever might hire them. Here they are unmasked and backing up two-face:

What do you guys think?

Think fast!

Who is perhaps the least imaginative yet inexplicably coolest rogue in the Flash's gallery?

I think it's this guy:

I've known I was going to make Professor Zoom (or, as I've always called him, Reverse Flash) since I posted my first DC custom in MU scale way back on page one of this thread. Even as I was turning that MU Daredevil into my Flash, I knew I needed to get a hold of the TRU exclusive yellow variant so I could essentially duplicate the formula, which is what I did to make Zoom.

What do you guys think?

You know, I've never read a comic with Zoom in it. I only know about the character because of the customs here on the site over the years.

Add to that the fact that I can't stand that base sculpt (the stubby, disproportionate DD body) and I should hate this or at the very least be indifferent toward it, but I'm not - I REALLY like this for some reason.

The lightning bolts are placed perfectly, the paint is flawless - you can't tell which yellow is yours and which is "factory." Just an all-around solid custom. And for the first time, you've got me considering making one of my own.

I really like the Joker things. Great idea giving them unmasked variations.

Reverse Falsh looks good. I agree that he needs the mini wings on the boots. Are those the Kid Flash bolts on his head?

Thanks.

Yes, those are Young Justice Kid Flash bolts on the head.

I've gone back and forth on boot bolts, and didn't use them here because my regular Flash doesn't have them (see p. 1 of this thread). But I am planning to redo my Flash on the new Daredevil body, so I may put boot bolts on that and on this.

looks awesome. I don't know much about the character other than I had a set of Justice League sheets as a kid and this version was on them. Because of that, I've always been intrigued by the look. Your take on him briefly sent me back in time, and I dig it for that reason if for no other. But the figure itself rocks. Like Chief, I can't tell what was painted and what wasn't, which pretty much makes it a win, especially given the color.

Oh, and I always thought he was called Reverse Flash also.

Okay, now I feel I have to come clean.

There's nothing painted on Reverse Flash. Nothing at all.

I tried painting the whole body a uniform yellow and was disgusted with the outcome, so I removed the paint and, in the process, inadvertently started taking off the red/brown that was all over the figure's torso and wrists. I decided to go all the way in that direction and acquired some acetone, which I had to be very careful with so as not to warp the plastic as I was cleaning it. Then I used cut out pieces of colored vinyl tape (which I removed the goo from and superglued in place, per the advice of a wise peer on the site) to do the chest symbol and lightning bolts.

The boots are straight off the new-style Daredevil (had to carefully adapt those old-style MU lower legs to accept them) and are still their original color. I may paint them eventually to bring them a little closer to the brighter red of the tape I used. Probably after I add the boot bolts.

CHEATER!!

Also, that's a pretty good idea. After I posted, I went to go look at the DD fig online and started to wonder if you just removed all the factory paint. Good call. :D

I actually wondered the same, but if Chief said it was paint, then dammit it was paint. ;)

"LASER BLAST" yeah. Zoom looks awesome, totally production quality. (I say leave the boot bolts off, it's perfect as is)

Been wanting to make this guy for a while, but couldn't figure out how to adapt the pieces of the DCIH Bizarro that I wanted to keep until I found myself trapped, sick in the house over Labor Day weekend. Then this happened:

bizarro.jpg
bizarro.jpg [ 443.12 KiB | Viewed 647 times ]

It's kind of a mishmosh of parts: DCIH torso (wanted the monstrous proportions), head, arms (modified to accept MU Bullseye hands) and cape (meticulously tattered), MU Captain America crotch and legs, MU comic pack Daredevil boots. Here's how he stacks up against his counterpart:
Attachment:
bizarro alone.jpg
bizarro alone.jpg [ 589.54 KiB | Viewed 647 times ]

And a more straight-on comparison shows they are almost exactly the same height. "We just like twins!" he says:

bizarro run.jpg

Here they are hugging, because they am best friends who hate each other so much:

What do you guys think?

effing brilliant. That's what I think. That you've kept so many of the DCIH parts is a revelation to someone with many such parts languishing in my fodder bins.
