I'm sure everyone that loved the SDCC Starscream has probably made these by now, so they're old news.

Sweet! I've been doing my own TF Skystrikers, so I can appreciate the hard work -especially since it looks like you actually painted the stripes rather than using decals (excellent job, btw.) The custom pilots are the icing on the cake.

Beautiful! While I'd personally like to see a wider range of vehicles adapted into TF colors, there's no denying these not only make sense but work wonderfully. The color-coordinated pilots are an interesting touch, and well executed!

Anything with Wild Weasel I love. The fact that you teamed him with Skywarp is just damn icing. Well done!

They all are great, but I really like that Baroness. I missed out on getting a couple $12 Skystrikers.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

Here is another one that I would imagine has been done to death already.
The Nano-Bat.
I decided not to buy into the FSS, since this was one of the two figures I really wanted.
So, I made my own.

This was a commission for a buddy of mine who requested a Snow Serpent that still had the Eel vibe to him, since Snow Serpents were all Eels prior.
He also requested a CQB type of feel to him as well. All gear is removable.

Snow Eel.

Nano-BAT is very well executed. I'm just afraid the Club design/color scheme (which you pretty darned faithfully rendered here) does anything for me.

Snow EEL is a wicked looking figure and a cool concept, but it almost feels like the two aren't in synch. There's just something terribly impractical about all that fur on a submersible outfit. It would add significantly to his weight upon exiting the water, even before it froze. if you remove the breathing rig, I almost see him as a Night Snow Serpent/sniper type.

I have no idea why I like the Nano-Bat color scheme. It's odd to say the least. I can't explain it.

I would agree with your comments on the Snow Eel, and had thought about that actually. My work around was that it was walrus or seal fur. Something that would work in water. The sculpted fur was a request as part of the commission as well. The backpack? Yeah, I dunno about that. I'd agree it's too large. The guy I made it for was ecstatic, so I left it at that.

Seeing your Nano Bat makes me want to try it so bad. I just need to cast the attachments in clear green first.

you need to customize your own Starscream at some point when you have another plane to use for it... your customs of SW and TC make the Hasbro-made 'Scream look like the unfinished knock-off garbage (instead of just the half-ass failure it already was). seriously, wow! plus the Baroness and Weasel customs are both amazing.

I want a Nano BAT from the club because theirs has translucent parts but your custom makes that translucency seem unnecessary afterall. plus it has the right thighs.

methinks a polar bear would disagree with you. a lot of fur on a submersible rig works just fine for them. I see no reason why that can't work for the Eel Serpent killing machine here.

Love the Snow Eel, reminds me of the Snow Serpent squad I did in the JvC era a few years back. I could see this guy as a bad ass squad leader for Cobra.

The Cobra pilots add so much to your Seeker, you went that extra step to ensure their awesomeness. Planning the Conehead Seekers too?

Thanks for the comments gents.

As far as Seeker customs:
I have the stickers to do Starscream, but not the plane.
Thrust is 90% done. Just need a pilot, a few touch ups and a few stickers.
Sunstorm is also about 90% done. Parts for the pilot are in the mail now.
I'm still stuck on parts for Ramjet and Dirge at the moment. I have a buddy who has made both, and I could copy his, but I already copied the Thrust recipe, I'd kinda like to do my own thing on these two.
I plan on doing Ice Storm (fanfic creation) at some point. Maybe Acid Storm too. Dunno.

I'm really sad I missed out on the Skystrikers when they went to clearance. I would have bought one for each project at that time.
