A recent Custom project was putting together a six man SEAL team, this is the kind of set I would have wanted to see from Hasbro, and would have ideally been packaged all together or in two sets of three. This team is made up of land based SEAL figures, and I am considering the idea of a second team of six different characters in dive gear.

Torpedo
I've always liked Torpedo and this is my second custom of the character. Both customs utilize the Bullhorn head. Of all the Hasbro characters that deserved an update throughout the ARAH line, Torpedo is at the top of that list. The first figure was terribly disappointing, he was scrawny and in that dive suit with a perma-mask, which severely limited his usage from me!
The only mods to the figure itself were the addition of the radio and grenades added to the Mainframe torso.

Wet Down
This figure was originally put together as an LBC Spearhead, but after recently repainting a Spearhead figure in better colors, this LBC became obsolete. Instead of taking it completely apart, I instead repurposed him as Wet Down and painted him as part of my Joe SEAL team.
Wet Down only saw one release and was a repainted Wet Suit I believe making him a complete blank slate as a character, which are often times my favorite types of characters. Wet Down is armed with a digital recorder/laser target designator, night vision goggles and a modified sub-machine gun (scope has been added).

Tracker
Tracker getting popped on the beach in the Devil's Due comics pissed me off, especially since it was the first time the character had even appeared in that media! He is a great character that deserves better respect. This custom was put together to help him earn that respect.

Combat
Combat is another original character created as a SEAL member, and this is actually the second figure I have of him.

Breach
Breach is an original character created to expand my SEAL team.

Jekyll and Hyde
Jekyll is an original character added to the Joe SEAL team, and his dog is Hyde. This custom was inspired by an article I read about SEAL teams using service dogs. Instead of shoehorning Mutt, or another animal handler into the team I thought it best to create a new character.

I like it... You've put together a very clean group of customs. The only one that I can really even pick out any issues on is Torpedo.

The Upper body Camo shirt, and body paint seem to clash and make the whole figure look sloppy...especially around the elbows. All the other figures seem to have pretty clean "factory style" paint schemes...tight lines and solid colors... the drybrush/paint wipe effect looks out of place on his arms and face.

I would either Remove the brown paint spots from his face, or further incorporate them if you want torpedo to have body camo... use similar angular spots of other colors to keep a factory look, and hide the Bullhorn head a bit more.

That's a good idea. I may try to remove those from a spare Bullhorn head I have and then switch out the arms giving it a more cohesive fee with the rest of the team.

Thanks for the feedback!

I like Jekyll and Hyde. I might give the dog some pouches or something just to make him look less like Lamont.

That's also a good idea. I should paint his harness, and I have some BBI pouches I can add to the sides. Until just now, I didn't know the dog had a name or was even a Joe dog, I never had Widescope (I looked it up on Yojoe!). The dog was provided in a lot of spare fodder parts.

Yea these are great. Makes me want to do something similar now, just for the hell of it. Only thing is change, would be to paint the straps on the dog. The blue just jumps out, grabs my ears and shouts 'I don't belong here!'

I was pleased to see a new group of customs from you, but I was even more excited when I saw what they were. SEALs in land gear has been something the line never had enough of, so I'm really glad to see that you rectified that problem. As a whole, the figures look great together. They do have a nice, cohesive team feel while retaining quite a bit of individuality. I agree with Nova about the camo on the Bullhorn head: it's the only thing in any of the photos that seemed a bit out of place, although the figure still looks good. I love that choice of head for Torpedo, though. My favorites of the bunch are Jekyll and Breach. I love the half-wetsuit/half-BDU look for Breach, and that might be the first time I've seen the Shockwave head work on a non-Shockwave figure. Jekyll is just a great-looking figure: I love the parts choices, and the Grunt head works well for him. I've been planning a SEAL/dog team for a while, too, and I love what you did with them. I'm glad Tracker made it in there, too; if any character demanded a figure that better represented his occupation, Tracker has to be pretty high on the list.

I hope you end up making the wet-suited team you mentioned; they'd make a nice complement to these guys. Great work on all of them!

Thanks for everyone's feedback. I'll be getting the straps on the dog taken care of this weekend.
