This one came about two different ways. The first was seeing a part that would work well for a custom, then building the custom around that. I've had decent luck seeing a part and building a whole custom around that one part (Hardball, Psyche Out, BullHorn, Duke.. the list goes on). In this case, it was a combination of seeing the Rock's camo head, and Retaliation Snake Eyes web gear. That would make a good Hit N Run custom I thought.

The second way came about after seeing the concept case. There was a Hit N Run in there. I thought it was pretty sweet. Perhaps there was a chance it would be released. Then, I took the polls over at generalsjoes.com.
After going through them, and voting, and scrutinizing.. that Hit N Run wasn't all that. He was pretty generic. Boring even. He had a pretty cool new helmet. The rest of his webgear was pretty lame. I want my Hit N Run to have pouches and crap to hold all the crazy tools he was going to use to blow "LASER BLAST" up.

I modified the Zartan bag to run a hook and grapple system, I included a pic of it. You can wrap the string back up, and store it in the bag via a notch I made. I also glued the retaliation trooper knives to the bag, they are still removable.
The Helmet is a very very close match the to trooper colors.
A little black paint, and I am pretty satisfied with how Hit N Run came out.

as always, thanks for looking. This should be my last one for this month. Have another batch ready to finish for next month.

I've had that same bag set aside for a new version of Hit & Run for almost a year. Just had no idea what figure I was going to use as a base.

This was a really good choice.

That's great. I kinda feel the same as you about the one in the concept case. What I DO like about that figure is the new head sculpt. It really gives him character. The rest of him is kinda been there, done that. Your take on him improves on the idea quite a bit and the use of the camo Rock head is genius and with the helmet on he doesn't especially look like The Rock either which is good. I had thought of doing the same for a Hit n Run custom that I was working on but ultimately went with something else instead.

Agree on the base figure choice. Even the head is a great choice once the helmet is on.

This is a very cool concept. I like what you did and it just comes together.
