I thought CoilCon had a great idea with turning POC Duke's body into a Dodger base, but I wasn't about to do it myself before finding a new Duke base. I saw the variant 30th Steel Brigade at a discount store today and inspiration just struck me.

Jungle Duke head
30th Steel Brigade body and grenade strap
Greatest Battles Duke backpack
POC Dusty helmet
30th Lifeline assault rifle
Renegades Ripcord pistol
Retaliation Beachhead knife

And a fixup to Retaliation Kamakura to bring him closer to his Valor vs Venom figure. Not submitting that to GP #50 because it's just an LBC.

Retaliation Kamakura body and weapons
Retaliation Red Ninja sash

Hope you guys dig em!

Simple. Yet effective.

Well, keep in mind, Joes typically cost 10$ a pop, so to me 7$ is a discount.

Dirtied it up myself.

Really glad you think it's a factory job because I didn't think it was a perfect match.

I like that idea for Duke a lot, but would prefer to see the shirt in a green that complements the headband.

The issues I have with Kamakura have more to do with Hasbro's choice of lower legs and arms than with your choice to keep them.

But then I wouldn't be able to use Ripcord's teal pistol with it!

If you don't mind my asking, what's wrong with them?
