Or as I like to call it, "that one custom where I used too much gray".

Unmasked head: Trigate
Masked head: 30th Anniversary Iron Grenadier
Torso, arms: Arctic Scrap-Iron
Legs: Ninja Battles Storm Shadow
Chestgear: ROC Air-Viper
Rifle: ROC Air-Viper Commando

I really hate that chest holster, the gun sticking out hinders motion on the arm. I need to find something to replace it with.

Thanks guys!

Words really can't describe how good it felt painting over the garish lavender on the chestpiece.

The grey works really well. NIce clean paint apps to the point where it looks production.

Too much gray isn't really the issue I see. Maybe one too many shades, though.

The very slight difference between the torso and the legs doesn't bug me, and i imagine it's far less noticeable in hand. But the straps and the helmet would ideally match. Similarly, the gold accents on the mask clash with the steel on the chest.

I think the simplest solution would be to find a diffferent helmet, which would also address the unavoidable distinctiveness of the IG helmet design and how odd it would be for a Cobra to wear one.

Great base figure, though.

I agree with this. Unless he is an IG or you heavily modify the helmet, he needs something else.

I didn't think the IG head was that iconic.

Guess I'll have to find a new head, or removable helmet, somewhere down the line, then.

You know, if it fits the Python Officer helmet could work nicely with no paint.

Or you could nab an Alley Viper helmet and paint it the same metal color as his chest diamond.

Maybe if you were to cut down the helmet ridge/crest, and maybe cut off the gas mask part, you'd end up with a neat looking helmet.

Better still, hang the cut off mask from the chest piece so it is in reach if needed.

I like it. The head looks like Trigate designed it to go with Matchbox's Robotech line?
