Had this in the planning stages for well over a year. Managed to get it finished two weeks ago.

Happy Halloween.

The Headless Horseman:

Head:
Body: MU Patriot
Cloak: Softgoods with gold ribbon and jewellers wire
Scabbard: Pirates of the Caribbean
Sword: Pirates of the Carribbean
Jack o' Lantern: Stikfas
Horse: Papo Zorro's Horse

I put a piece of jeweller's wire under each piece of gold ribbon on the cloak so that I could pose it. I did consider sculpting a pumpkin, but I already had one from a Stikfas set that was molded in black plastic. Just painted up the eyes and mouth. The horse already had a saddle, all I had to do was repaint the eyes. Sprayed the Patriot figure black, added a collar and some gold stripes as highlights. Have a close look at the neck inside the collar.

Put this together for a bit of fun:

Damn, great attention to detail, especially on the neck part, cool all the way around and perfect for halloween, awesome job mate.

Same stuff I used for the 'nails' in my Hellraiser Pinhead's head. About 0.1mm and very flexible. Either that or florists wire

Fantastic custom, but not at all what I envisioned when I read the title "Headless Horeman."

I knd of expected a decapitated General Hawk in trampy undergarments.

This is great Kam. Very much in the spirit of the season, and brings back some great fun memories from hearing the reading of the story as a youth. (In fact, I was just trying to find a good free version of it online to play for me son, if anyone knows of such a thing?)

Love the horse - perfect choice, and the overall effect is "just right".

That's exceptionally cool.

Love a soft goods cape too.

Nice work on it, especially the cape. The edge ribbon really sells it.
