Lol

Pn, I give you a ton of credit for your creative approach to customizing. I think you might truly have found a figure to make here that will NEVER, ever never ever get made by a toy company.* Lol. and you got the look down pat. Bravo.

*the exception being that if it were a character from SW it would eventually get one...

THat is just fantastic. I needed something to make me smile this morning at this was it. Great work on the figure. Even with my penchant for making customs of obscure characters, I would never have considered that one. Congrats on making something fun and completely unique

Ha! - I had that issue as a kid. I remember it being the first time I learned about Tasers.

Awesome stuff! What did you use as a base? Or was this all an original sculpt?

Very well played sir. my only critique would be that having the figures with eyes vs the opaque glasses takes away something from the comic book version.

Really impressive.

I'm also wondering about the base figure.

The version of Chief that's in my mind first learned about tasers in a much more dramatic fashion... ;)

But yeah, I didn't think to ask what the base figure was.

Thanks, all.

I hunted high and low to find a 1:18 scale Browning to better match the comic book. No luck.

I considered filling in the glasses to make them flat and then painting the flat lenses a silver white. I thought it might look too cartoonish when displayed with other figures, though. There are a few panels in which her eyes can be seen, too. There is a happy middle ground- there is a clear modeling compound used to make "water". Once I use it and get used to working with it, I may come back to this figure and add some "glass" to the lenses.

Okay, here's the recipe:

Head: '84 Baroness w/sculpted hair
Upper torso, arms: SW Max Rebo
Lower torso, legs to boot tops: SW Gammorean Guard
Boots: Titan AE Preed
Dress: Scratch-built
Machine gun: ROC Heavy Duty

There really wasn't much sculpting. The hair, neck fat roll, and dress. The hair is a bit more voluminous than the artwork, but it helps to downplay the oversized hands.
