Have to agree with this. The Firefly head will go a good distance with swoop.

What about a single-card Serpentor helmet over a chromed CC or Viper head for grim lock?

I also agree with the Firefly head, I was going to say Wraith but FF is waay better for this. Swoop for the win for me! Really well done!

swoop is great but the FF head will make him even better,Grimlock does need a different head too I think.
I have me a few TF customs with iron man figures as well, i have Prime and Bumblebee I got from Jfak and I did megatron, arcee and Nemesis Prime.
Keep them coming though and will like the new Dinobots i'm sure.

Along those lines when I did my Grim I used that same body and a G1 Grim head which worked awesome.

Thanks for the comments guys. I finished Snarl today, but didn't get the pictures shot. My mother got an iPad today and needed help getting it all set up. So it goes.

Grimlock is my favorite Diobot and that Deep Dive armor is one of my favorite from that line. I won't be changing that one. I do like the idea about the Serpentor helmet though.

I have my next Seeker Skystriker finished and a pilot to go with him, should be shooting those pics this weekend. I have yet another Seeker Skystriker that needs some finishing touches and he's ready to roll out. I have the pilot figure built but not painted yet.

Parts list for Thorbuster, please. Did you use clear red and yellow for the armor for the shine?

Base figure is Titanium Man, Hypervelocity head and some sculpting.

The paint is my trade "secret" I use for my Iron Man customs.

Red: base coat of silver then Tamiya Clear Red
Gold: base coat of gold then Tamya Clear over everything.

I'll post another example tomorrow.

I know what head you could use for Grimlock, you could use the POC Jungle viper

I laugh my ass off when this guy is on the show and a parts list hit me out of the blue... so I made him.
I see a few ares I need to touch up the paint on. Seems like I don't catch them until after I shoot the pictures.

Shore Leave.

"Boom! Yummy!"
