You definitely nailed the colours and feel of the original. Toxic Zartan is the weirdest thing Sigma 6 released, outweirding even Dark Ninja Master, but it is also strangely appealing. I like that you translated the idea to ARAH, and think you pulled it off. I am curious why you went with a blue hood instead of the black hood of the 8" version.
One thing I don't like about the original's arms is that his bracelets are the same colour as his arms. When I made Toxic Croc Master out of Toxic Zartan, I painted the bracelets black. I like how it breaks up the translucent green. I feel the same way about your Toxic Zartan's gloves.
When I set up my molds for Zartan, I put the crotch and Hood/cowl in the same mold... While a Black hood was in my initial plans... I like the blue enough that I don't want to go through the trouble of running the hoods in black, or dealing with paint ware on the hood... or having to figure out what to do with all the extra blue hoods or black crotches that would be left over.
Play-ability is one of the driving factors in a lot of my custom decision making... Key places to avoid paint are on the hands and any joints. Also I try and keep paint applications limited and in the "factory style"... both because I can't paint that well, and because I prefer that look.
That's a big portion of why I left Zartan's gloves Green, and that's also why Zartan's upper arms are solid purple.. because Hasbro's Zartan had single color upper arms and it helps avoid paint chipping. Also Trying to paint that green to flesh fade would have been a nightmare for me.
