Perfect. Might steal your Sabretooth idea - he looks great!

Glad you guys dig these.

And steal-away, Chief. Sabretooth is mostly Sentry bashed with movie Sabes (first comic series) with a Magneto belt and Bulldozer collar.

Since I had Sabretooth and Wild Child, I figured I might as well try the Age of Apocalypse version of Wolverine:

Base figure (comic pack Madripoor Wolvie) is largely intact. Made the cap for his stump out of a missile head. Here he is with his furry friends:

And here's a nice height comparison:

What do you guys think?

Thanks, guys.

I'd be shocked if they didn't do a Wolvie like this at some point. Sabes would be easy for Hasbro, too. Wild Child would have to be a different base body and they'd probably go quasi-articulated like the forthcoming Puck.

This was really more of a patch than a full-on custom.

I recently acquired the X-Men: Origins 2-pack for a more subdued color Sabretooth, and I was both intrigued and repulsed by the Blob accessory that came with it. I call it an accessory, because it was (and still is) barely articulated. But the part that annoyed me most was the whacked out ginormo arms they gave him at the factory. I decided to see how hard it would be to fix that and this is where I ended up:

As for how hard it was, I'm going with very. At least hard enough that I'm not even going to try and adapt his arse/crotch to accept articulated legs. I'm really considering him a placeholder until something better comes along.

Great work on Blob - I've got the same base fig, and decided that will be good enough until something better comes along -- fantastic work on what you've done.

Your AoA figs are awesome - I totally cheated on my collection's Wild Child, and went with a Weapon Omega look ...

so, all around, well done Spin!

Nah. AoA Sabretooth had arms that weren't even the same length and lacked balljoints... Really bad arms all around.

This looks to use the Toy Biz "Captive" Sabretooth's arms, with the bicep braces removed.

The inspiration to make this guy struck me as I was struggling to find a Thor I was happy with. I popped a Retaliation Roadblock head on the Ages of Thunder Thor body just to see if the colors matched and suddenly I REALLY wanted an Executioner figure:

I know he's not 100% comic accurate, but I was kind of going for a movie-verse feel:
