So I was thinking the other day about the "Unconquered mountains" of customizing. Not many left. I'd throw in some ideas of what would be the biggest/most difficult projects and if they got done.

1. Cobra Fortress from MASS Device/Silent Castle: Built by Luke, or "Salvoinacan". Done.

2. Massive more scale accurate FLAGG: Done, not sure who did it but I've seen it.

3. Full Size cartoon G.I. Joe HQ: Again, saw a guy do it with styrofoam coolers for buildings. Massive amount of space. Huge amount of figures.

4. Cobra Snake Transport (Movie version): Not yet seen.

Any other "major mountains" that customizing has not yet climbed or even ones that have been done incredibly well?

Got curious, and if I'm doing the math right, a 1:18" aircraft carrier would be over 60 feet long.

That would be about right since most carriers are about 1100 ft long. 1/18 of 1100 ft. equals 61.1 ft. Not saying its impossible but that would be epic on a righteous scale.

Well. I meant "closer" in scale, not exact. A true scale Flagg would just be exhausting to make, build and look at.

On the bright side, it could also be rented out as low income housing.

A true scale Flagg would be constructing an appropriate sized tower structure along the side of your driveway.

That really puts it into perspective as to how big those things really are. They are truly floating cities.

To get an idea of that size, when you see a tractor trailer pulling a van (box) trailer, the trailer is only 53 feet long.

So who's up for building a 1/18th Flagg using a flat bed tractor trailer? I don't have the space. You would only have to extend it by 7 feet.

Not really. you could use the base of the trailer as a mid point of your construction and then add the flight deck above it. Talk about portable Dio? And by the way when Sub stated Box/Van he was not talking the Containers that are used to ship overseas. Those are shorter (I beleive they are 40 ft +/-).

All of those mentioned grand customs would be awesome to see.

Anyone remember that guy who built the figure scale Rebel Blockade Runner? They woul haul it out for parades on the back of a flatbed. It was on Ebay for what seemed like years.

I wonder what happened to it...guess I'll google it.

Yea I dont think I ever saw that. If you had a link or something that would be amazing. I remember a guy on the Rebelscum forums was making a true scale Millenium Falcon. Sucker was going to be huge. I should check in on that and see what his progress has been, now I think of it.

progress (or at least the updates) were slow but steady last I checked. The detail work he was doing was more impressive to me than the scale of the project.
