I love the ROC/POC-transitional Tiger Snake rip attack vehicle, so I decided to make some proper drivers for them.
Image
Bodies: POC Alley-Viper Officer (incomplete ones from China)
Heads: Raginspoon

I based the color scheme on the Spy Troops Coils, but Street-Viper is just such a cooler name.

EDIT:
I think I got something this time.

Those look awesome! Great idea. Now the "Tiger Snakes" just need tiger stripes or something.

They totally remind me of Stratos (MotU).

That's... kind of depressing.
Any tips on what I could do to make it look less like Stratos? I was going an homage to these guys:

Darken the red maybe, add some sort of webgear maybe, or paint a metallicy silver wash over the gray maybe?

I dunno, "LASER BLAST" Stratos, those Street Vipers don't need to be changed. They rock as they are IMO.

I see what you were going for now, but before I totally saw Stratos-Vipers.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

So, bit of a bump, but I wasn't sure whether I should ask here or in General Customizing...

I've decided to ditch the Stratos-Viper look on these guys and do the highlights based on the tan, orange and red detailing of the single-carded Cobra Coils:
http://www.yojoe.com/action/03/coils2.shtml

But I'm not sure how to transfer the red detailing on the chest to my base figure. I thought about doing the quilting in red... but then it'd turn "Stratos-Vipers" into "McFly-Vipers"... If anyone has a suggestion of where or how I can add the red highlights to the POC A-V Officer base figure, I would really appreciate the help.

Just checked this out. I like what you were going for originally, but also see Stratos.

If you matched the colors from Coils v1 I think you'd be fine. As is, both the red and blue are too light. The blue is almost a metallic periwinkle and the red is more burgundy.

I guess. But it's too late to go back now, I've already got the orange, tan and black done on the limbs, I just have to work on the torso, and want to figure out where the red'll go before I tackle it.

I really do love how the orange and tan go with the grey, so I'll be sticking with that.

I don't know if you want to use web gear or not, but the web gear from this cobra night watch trooper might look cool with some red highlights.

No thanks. I'm happy with the base figures as is.

I really dig this new deco I did. The figures feel a lot more complete and lively now.

Thats a definite improvement. The little touches like on the helmet and the upper arms really make a difference.
