Had some spare parts that I wanted to use up, so came up with this guy... Let me know what you think.

Grew up with the Adventure Team, and this was one of my favorite sets as a kid. I decided to give him some updated gear though, as I thought the ol' grease gun was a bit out dated...

The Desert Officer is great, but I'm really digging the AT dude. I've long complained that the Club's AT head was too tiny, but it looks perfect on the SE torso. And your paintjob makes it even better.

Awesome stuff!

both are great, probably going to steal that cobra idea.

but that AT guy is awesome. did you buy a cast of the head? it seems larger than the clubs.

It is a cast, which I got in a grab bag from a guy who was selling large amounts of cast items for $10 a pop a while ago in the Marketplace... I cannot remember who it was or I'd give him props for providing it...

I think both are great too. Love what you did with that helmet on the Desert Officer.

Great Spy Island GI Joe.
The painted eyes look so much better that the little ones the Club gave us.
I'd grab that of the pegs in a second. Good job!

yeah, Adventure Team ftw. Nicely done. Plus, you should take some shots of him with the grease gun anyway, for nostalgia's sake ;)

He needs the Action Marine's raft or the one from the Infiltration set with radio and grease gun.

I have to admit that I love that helmet with that torso on the cobra trooper. If my desert set ever makes it out of the package, I am absolutely going to do that with it. I also might look at the front padding as potentially a soft armor vest on a plain background.

Looks real good. Are you gonna dry brush the Cobras shirt?

Youve always been good at painting, but these seem to have elevated you to another level.

Youre definately among the best at weathering your customs.

I like the Cobra, but I love the AT guy. Superb work
