see pyre, here is the thing,
a lot of us gather the same information from multiple boards as you, therefore most of us have the exact same base of knowledge in regards to toy production, as you. On this particular board a lot of us argue over a great many things. Some of us are tired of watching master collector run a "fan club" poorly, or listening to the company line form hasbro corp, every time a seemingly bad decision is made.
Fans are tired of being told one thing, and given another, tired of the wave system that ultimately fails them, over and over. tired of policies that take a show they love "Renegades" off the air, to promote a film that probably isn't going to be that great.
Now bare in mind,
MOST of us maintain this hobby, simply as a hobby. We don't take it too seriously because lets face it in the great big world, any hobby is at best a distraction, and at worse an anchor.
However,
when we gather in our favorite spot to throw some discourse at each other, we all usually take offense to some smug poster talking down to everyone that disagrees with him. when that happens people that usually get along with everyone tend to come out of the wood work just to argue with that poster. When that posters main arguments are just company PR peoples lines then it becomes what you see here now. There are a lot of people on this board who have pursued toy manufacturing. There are others of us that work in various types of manufacturing, or people like myself that used to design tools and have metals tech manufacture them for building munitions in the AF. There is a lot of knowledge in joe fandom.
you are not the smartest guy on JC. Not saying I am, or anyone else is. but get over yourself man. Just post and have fun.
