Crusher has a really good mix of parts. He retains the Dreadnok feel without using any previous Dreadnok parts which is pretty great actually. Might need to sand down the belt buckle or replace the waist with something else. But mad I love the parts combo a lot.

If only that Zangief was a little bit smaller..... Seems slightly too big compared to the rest of the body.
Love the parts combo, though.

Wow, that's a really cool team! So where these finished recently?
My absolute favorites are Roadblock and Stalker. This Roadblock probably is my new favorite customized version as of now. Indeed, he has a Blaine-vibe over him.
Stalker has this tough guy look without overdoing it and the gear fits him greatly.

Thanks! Most have been "finished" for several years. I had planned on adding black camo, patterned off of Battle Corps Duke, but I hate painting camo. I had only Duke left to finish though, so I finished him up and scanned all the others and called them good.

Those guys look a little sparse for your regular quality of work.

I think that they are extremeply military and functional, but the ones other than Flint lack the detailed touches that I would generally expect from a Matthew custom.

They are complete and neat, but lack the sparkle of your normal work.

just add a lifeline to the Battle Rangers and you'll have the whole Predator squad

I can see your point. I wanted to follow a more military approach, using various shades of green. I was talking to chad, and he said that a lot if the detailing is lost in the scans. I used three different shades of green on these guys, as well as flat and satin finishes to add contrast between the colors, which us difficult to see. For example, Spirit's torso uses a flat olive drab for the base with the grenades using a darker, more green for the grenades.

All in all, a more military approach, but lacks the dynamics of more contrasting colors.

Lots of cool stuff here. Wraith is the star of the show for me. Such a simple idea but it took a great eye to realize it would work. I always enjoy seeing new stuff retrofitted into the ARAH line. The Rangers are also really nifty. I love the uniformity of their look, but appreciate that each has some details and splashes of color that may them unique. I love the bikers and robots and snake men of the Joeverse, but it's always cool to see some old school 'army men.' Modelling them after Predator is a neat touch.

Major Storm and switch gears are solid. Crusher and Demolishor seem very familiar ;-)
Absolutely love the battle corps rangers, perfect parts choices and I like how the colors tie them together. Is flint's hat sculpted?

ExcEllen's work on all of these! Purely coincidental, I finally started painting my Battle Ranger figures! I really dig the subtle colors you've used, Flint is my favorite of the bunch but Roadblock isn't far behind!

In the least-shocking development of 2013, your work on these is amazing. Your parts selection is consistently some of the best around, and the whole set is conceptually brilliant. Everything about it works, and I'm having a hard time singling anything out for special praise because I like 'em all. I will say that, despite looking very simple, the Gunner figure displays some of the most ingenious parts choices I've seen in a while. And, the Gnawgahyde custom makes some of the worst parts in the history of the line flow together, which is a real achievement. There were some really impressive entries in that contest, but yours was my favorite.
