I've been working off and on this for awhile. After growing up with Adventure Team as a kid, I was blown away with the Club's releases of the 3 3/4 Adventurers. Naturally I had to have some retro vehicles to go with these extremely cool figures.
I started with two scratch builds both the 5 star Jeep and the 6x6 ATV. I thought I would go a different route with the MSV since I had so many requests for the other two. That along with the latest release of the personal 3-D printer prompted me to design one using 3D software so anyone could build one.
Here is a link to the build: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-joe-customs-works-progress/305988-making-3d-model-3-3-4-adventure-team-msv.html

Now lets get on with it, here it is the first 3 3/4 Adventure Team MSV.

That is so super cool. Are you going to be selling them?

It is great. No critique, just envy. It really is perfect (once you get your clear windshield finished).

Adventure team was before my time, but I become rather interested in it.

That's a damn good scaled version of the original, great idea using the 3D tools.

I picked up one of the originals at a yard sale for a song and I thought it was one of the goofiest looking things I had ever seen, but at the time I bought anything GI Joe so I couldn't pass it by.

With that being said, this is one heck of a project and well executed. It's still a goofy vehicle but you did a great job with the transition to 1/18 scale and I would be interested one if the price was comparable to current Hasbro prices.

As I said in the other thread when this was just a design in the making, this is fantastic. I had a thought about the canopy; could you design a support frame to give the shape, then people could leave it open like old school vehicle windows, or they could use card bubbles cut to fit it to make it solid.

ive been watching this thread and at hisstank and i havent said anything because honestly i avoid vehicles just out of space and money concerns. but this is a really awsome project and it looks really cool for what is sort of a goofy vehicle there is just something about it.
