I wanted to get this finished and out before JoeCon, so here it is.....my version of Hound.

Kind of hard to tell in the pics, but there is bullet proof glass in all the windows, well....plastic.

Wheels are from a Motocross pickup I found at Marshalls. I posted pics of that a while back. Now I have to replace those wheels to make the Ironhide I wanted to make, but I think I already found workable replacements. The wheels still work as I was able to cut out te entire axel from the other toy and just glue and screw it in place with a few mods.

As far as the turret, it is made from the Ninja VAMP missile launcher, the VAMP MK-II Gatling gun, VAMP MK-II front gun, a GI Joe ammo string, and a Halo Warthog Upgrade Gauss Cannon. All were heavily modified to make this weapon. It spins just like the original rocket launcher did.

Here is the thread with the pickup where the wheels came from:

You can see in the 3/4" angle pic you put in a windshield. Nice. I would have put a white star on him somewhere since that works both for the G1 look and for GI Joe. Otherwise this is really cool looking.

this is totally badass! the paint job, the MXS pickup truck wheels, the spare wheel, the windshield, the gatling gun with ammo belt carefully painted --- awesome job!

really dig the wheels and weapon upgrade but I agree with Pluv on the white star. maybe even some yellow on the front fenders to bring him closer to hounds original color pallet.
