I truly have the BEST wife on Earth! Today we hit TRU while running errands as I was looking for the last 2 Star Wars figures I missed from last year (they didn't have them) and I saw the Schleich "Shadow Rock" diorama that I have been wanting for several years now! This particular toy has been out of production for quite some time and has not been carried at retail in a long time. There was 1 lonely set, sitting all dusty and neglected on the bottom shelf. I scanned it but it was more than the meager amount of "fun money" I had left until my next check so I was going to put it back. Liz told me to take it to the register and that she would buy it for me! Now all of my Orcs and Goblins have a killer diorama to hang out in

Got a call from my contact at Dollar General. Got another complete set, including the white box they shipped in.

Also found a second blue collar JOE Trooper at Wal-Mart.

My wife bought me another Schleich fantasy line playset today, the Summer Elf Home. Out of the box, it's a bit girly with alot of flower decorations that go all around the 2 platforms and a swing on the second level, but I will be ditching all of those parts and replacing them with many items like skull shields and other spikey items making an awesome Orc Outpost out of it!

It's been a pretty good week so far.

-Picked up another 5 packs of address labels from AC Moore on clearance (25 each)
-Got my GIJOE 82-87 poster in the mail today.
-Picked up an Iron Man jet to customize.
-Picked up my Lenovo ThinkVision monitor (17inch (diagonal) from Blockbuster. Paid $21.60 for it.
-Stopped at Dollar General and found 5/6 of the Wave 2 GIJOE figures

(no Shipwreck)

Gonna use a 50% coupon at AC Moore to get a nice 11x17 picture frame for the poster.

The local Blockbuster went out of business. Over the last month or so, as they have dropped the prices on movies, I have picked up about 30+ DVDs and blu rays.

I saw a notice they were selling fixtures, including the monitors for the cash registers. They had them for $20. I saw they had the same connection port that matched the one on my newer laptop. I asked if the cord was included and they said yes. For $20 I thought it was worth the money.

I picked it up yesterday and brought it home, hooked it up and then turned everything on. I didn't have to adjust anything and it has a really good viewing picture, which makes the Ian Fell(sp?) GIJOE poster I as the desktop image look really cool.
