#115? That's really interesting! What's it gonna be, Wild Weasel and V2 Hawk?? Ace? Rampart and Backblast???

So I need to buy six comic packs just to pay the price of a figure to get this one! I know shipping has gone up, but as anyone can tell you, a padded envelope and shipping for one figure is usually between $2.00 - $2.50.

Well, Doc is coming as a carded figure, so it won't just be in a padded envelope.

Lady Jaye and Keel-Haul?

Ghostrider . .. er . . . Captain Jeffries and Slipstream (mistakenly referred to on the package and on his filecard as Dogfight)? :rotfl:

If Jeff's info is correct, that issue is an odd choice. Lady Jaye (without cap), Hawk v2, a darker-colored hooded Cobra Commander, and Wild Weasel seem like the best options given the tooling available, but none of those characters really had a starring role in the issue. Yet, I somehow doubt that we'd get two pilots like Jeffries and Slipstream as our figures. I guess we'll just have to wait for official confirmation or denial of a set based on this comic.

This is better but I am still dissapointed in the offer. I only wanted 1 figure myself which means I still have to buy 6 comic packs I may not like. They they say they will be on the first 9 packs, I will hold out to see if any of the latter ones are worth getting. Of course, I could always beg someone to get me an extra with battle points because I have plenty of those.

Info is direct from the artist, he completed the cover for Hasbro, but as always, it's up to Hasbro if it ever comes out...

Here is where the info comes from...

Well, the good news for me is that I just counted over 200 battle points in my collection (if only DTC had come with them!). And also, of the 5 offically revealed comic packs, I want 3 (for Hawk, Breaker, and the Noks).

The bad news, only 4 more comic packs to be revealed, so I have to like 3 out of the 4. The rumored #115 has great potential but could also bomb.

But hey, if I have to buy one or two packs I don't like, my nephews are still making do with t-crotch Duke and CC, so that's one...

...BTW, anyone else get the same mental image as me when the Doc mail-away was announced as Cobra having taken him prisoner and we have to save him? That image being a bunch of peg-warming DTC SAW Vipers ( "Hey, c'mon you guys! We're TROOP BUILDERS!") pissed of at him for actually being wanted, and drawing a bead...

I see. So there were definitely plans for a pack based on issue 115, and as far as anyone knows this pack is still expected to see release. I'm still curious about why BBTS would have preorders for a case including the other two comic packs from Wave 2, but I suppose the case packout could change once Hasbro confirms this set.

On the other hand, Greg's cover for issue 14 looks absolutely beautiful, even if the Rattlers shouldn't be there. :)

woohoo battlepoints!

I think we can all agree the six thousand battlepoints we all have setting in our hobby rooms needs to be nervous around scissors, :)

I really hope they eventually make it so that we can get an army builder with those points.

For instance 50 points for a viper, yeah, then we could get a nice batallion.

4.95 per figure would suck, though.

Maybe you could get someone here to cash in those points for you?

that is what i was hoping to bank on cause i am not big on the 25th stuff
so if anybody wanted just one or two maybe they can take my 10 bucks and however many battle points and throw two my way.
