Tim- pure accident. I did a simple two color, light blue on dark blue and it looked fine but then thought I would put some gray highlights on the edge of some of the light blue area but that looked horrible. So then I thought I would partially outline some of the areas in black. Which was a step in the right direction but soon expanded into making lines throughout the light blue area. It was getting better but still needed something so I made similar lines with light blue paint throughout the dark blue area.
