Thanks for the pictures Beav.
I pre-ordered a set of the figures, and the lack of a good Matt Smith likeness is a bit of a disappointment, but overall I like what I'm seeing. And I pre-ordered a "spin-and-fly" Tardis thanks to your review. I had no idea what to expect from it, but your pictures show that it is definitely worth getting. It will look great displayed with the figures around it!

The TARDIS is the best toy I've bought in a while. Sure, it's basically just a fancy box, but damn if it's not fun for posing stuff with.

that confirms what I suspected on the Smith Doctor figure. I think at this point the TARDIS (though I have a decent background prop version as is) and MANY Daleks are about the full extent of my interest in the line.

Will totally buy a Clara and Doc if I find them. I love civilian figures.

Yep. Who cares that its a poor likeness, its a civilian once they put out a good one. They should collaborate with Bridge Direct for pointers and tips.

I'll stick with these, they're not in scale with Joe, but at least I have a complete set, or did until last week.

'Not Joe scale'? That alone is reason enough to toss them and set them on fire, lol.

Nah, I embrace all scales of action figures, too many if you ask my wife. 'sides, if I set them on fire they'd just regenerate.

I haven't checked Asphalt's Hunter Artworks casting store in awhile, but I know he carried a few shrinks of the heads you just showed there. Here's hoping - assuming he doesn't already have them all - some good chap will make sure he has the chance to shrink the rest...

So looks like Ice Warrior will be Joe Scale and Cyberman will be short. Could use him as Twiki. :shifty:

The Dalek Invasion set arrived today. Can't say I am very impressed with the quality of the backdrop. The Dalek Hoverbout is a nice little piece, though. Will try and get it assembled properly this weekend and take some pics. Going to have to glue it together. The little plastic plugs did not hold it together and flew all over the room when I tried to assemble it.

You ever take them pics, Kam?

Thanks to payday, I got in Doc, Clara, and the Sit-n-Spin TARDIS. They're too pricey, need to strive for Joe quality and artic; but I dig them all. Doc looks a lot like Mordred from the 80s Excalibur flick.

I plan to get one of the dio-sets and a pair of a Dalek and Cyberman for the next couple of paydays, I think. No great desire for the Angel or Martian figs.
