Here are a few pics of a Terror Drome that I done about a year ago. It was almost yellow when I got it along with some broken parts, but some glue, paint, spare plastic and a little sweat I got it looking presentable. Enjoy.

Very nice work, dig the silver and the painted cobra sigils on the ramparts. I eventually need to fix up my own terror drome.

I agree with all of this except the silver. Maybe it is too much, but either way, it looks great!

yeah I thought about that when I painted it, I would have liked to have had a more dull finish. It is a little too shinny, but good thing is I can repaint it with no worries.

Hit it up with clear matte finish. That will kill the shiny and make it easy to make more realistic.

I'm digging the silver and this is making me want to do the same to mine collecting dust in the shed. What type of paint did you use? Krylon Fusion? Or something else? Also did you prime before hand or just clean and go straight to paint?

I dig the silver and especially the detailed Cobra logos.

Maybe some additional details on the silver parts might make it pop even more (to "dull it down" without really dulling it down)? Not weathering, per se, but something like adding some "grease" spots or grime around the rivets. Or maybe just a black metallic wash to really bring out the details on the "metal".

But more awesome stuff, for sure. I'm enjoying the hell out of everything you've posted so far -- keep 'em comin! :D

Well done. Painting the Cobra logos seems like such an obvious update, totally makes sense.

I like the silver also. In my mind it fits the portable nature of the Terror Drome, as I could see the interior walls being made of aluminum in some spots, steel in others.

I also agree with Chief, that IF you wanted to add anything more at all, a black wash would be the way to go, metallic or not. It would settle into the grooves and really make the overall sculpt pop.

But you did good with this.
