Imperial hangars and flight decks across the Galaxy are highly organized and are unparalleled models of efficiency. Imperial hangar crews operate in squads of five consisting of a deck officer, a flight controller, a signalman and a pair of troopers. The deck officer keeps his craft, their pilots and support staff in order while the flight controller directs waiting craft to their launch/landing areas. The signalman uses his advanced signaling devices to issue orders from the deck officer to incoming/departing craft while the troopers ferry pilots to their ships and prep those ships for flight.
