New cuffs and boot cuffs, new head, new belt, all on the standard buck. It's nothing amazing, but it fits in well with the line and the clean look makes me think of Marvel vs. Capcom. When you've got the extra swivels in the legs to make it useful, I do love the rocker ankles, which no other Cap can boast.


His shield sucks though, or at least the clip that isn't really designed to stay on his arm does.

that new Cap figure looks amazing. honestly, methinks they finally got out the perfect 616 comic version of Captain America.

I wish Mysterio didn't look so... unfinished. He needed the paint apps of the lines on the costume. Same with Cap--he needed painted scales at the least.

I was able to score 2 Cap's and Elektra for the TRU 2 for $15 sale and added a 5 POA Logan since Rhino and Mysterio was already gone.

I have a Rhino I like from the Spidey line a few years ago, but man, does that one look perfect. Mysterio will be rather tempting as well. Cap is a huge pass. Iron Fist, is a surprise, but I hate that body mold when there's nothing else sculpted; it looks sickly. And I'm not a huge fan of the bodies they use for female figures, but I like Elektra as a character and that's the best she's been done, so she might be tempting in person as well.

I'm tempted to nab a light-up base Cap, swap the new Cap's arms head and legs onto him and call it a day.

I saw that pic on Facebook before seeing it here. It did occur to me that this could be someone's custom set - how legit do we think this is? I guess as a Disney exclusive I'd have been unlikely to score it anyway, so I'm glad I have my customs.

Given that the tray is formed to the figures and the box isn't based on anything I'm familiar with, I'm inclined to think its legit. Plus I can't see anyone bothering to do that glow paint effect on all those older figures' arc reactors when you could just leave them as is.

Of course it being a Disney exclusive (or Disney Store perhaps? I'd have a shot at it that way) means it'll be overpriced anyway.

Disney Store and park exclusives have been known to have new tooling (6" Indiana Jones figure) so this isn't too far out of the realm of possibility. Considering everything but the Stark figure looks to be repaints it's not that hard to see it happening.

Tony doesn't even look like new tooling. Looks like 30th Anni Law with different legs and the unreleased Tony Stark head from IM2.

What will that run, about $50? For one fig that's not a dupe? Meh. Hasbro is taking the fun out of collecting every line they make, imho.
