Is this just Bruce Willis in a hard hat or could this or something similar work for Tollbooth?

Reminds me of Bruce in Die Hard w/a Vengeance when he went up to shoot those dudes in the dump truck.

I have a hard time not seeing him as derpy Bruce in a hard hat - but a different head could make it instant Tollbooth.

Yeah, ditch the head. But I'll be stealing the hell out of this combo for generic construction type guys

I think the head would be perfect if circumstances were different. If they had not just made him Joe Colton. It is just too soon. It might work for the 40th anniversary once Retaliation has faded in our minds

I'm starting to think that you might be able to pull this off if you repaint the eyes and eyebrows. The eye thing would help reduce the Bruce Willis-ness of the head somewhat, especially if you went a bit bigger with the irises and set them at a respectable distance apart, as opposed to the tiny, close-set production paint application. And if you really wanted to get nuts, you could either sculpt on a very close-cut hairline, or just try to paint it on in a similar manner to the stubble. I actually like the head for the character, but unaltered, it does read a little too close to Bruce Willis. The parts choices for the rest of the body are a stroke of genius, though.

Love the parts combo. I'm gonna borrow it to make more rail workers for my train. Where did you get the hat?

For the head, like sgartz said, if you fix the paint and change it a bit, it might work.

Perfect except the head, like everyone said.

Thanks guys for the input. I'm gonna tinker a bit with this and try a few things with the head,

the helmet is a raginspoon cast. It comes already orange.

Bear in mind this is the first time I have ever painted eyes or even eyebrows.....

If this seems to be working I will try to make it cleaner.

Use a fine tipped pen to give the eyes an arch along the top. Helps to reduce the surprised look. Otherwise looking good.

While the body looks good, from a real world perspective why would he be wearing suspenders under his overalls? Has he recently lost a lot of weight and needs them to hold up his boxers?

I thought that too, more than likely he will end up completely different, these legs on that torso sit very wide apart at the hips anyway. Its weird, never encountered that before. I have a pretty solid backup plan for the waist down.
