This is the second version. So I switched some things around, took a cue from the club with the webgear, and tried to make it less Bruce Willis. Obviously no paint apps have been applied so some imagination is needed.

Better? Worse? Still too Bruce?

If you take your finger and cover up the face, while looking at the rest, the rest works.

I think that head is just too much Bruce Willis..

Maybe a PoC Hawk or PoC Law head?

I actually think the head works fine here. The changes you made to the eyes and eyebrows take a lot of the Bruce Willis resemblance out of it for me, and with the stubble and large jaw, it reminds me of the original Tollbooth somewhat. Now, it's worth noting that I'm not a big Bruce Willis fan (Die Hard, Moonrise Kingdom, and Twelve Monkeys excepted), so maybe my lack of interest in the guy makes me more willing to see the head as someone else. But I like what you did here and I like the change in legs, too (the only thing that I didn't like on the previous version was that he had two sets of suspenders on). I'll be curious to see what the final product looks like.

it looks good. though I chuckled at the parts you went with - only because in the WIP thread, the coverall pants and waist piece were loved, and Willis head was knocked...

But I respect you making the Willis head work. And the combo of parts is another good one. :)

It is kind of funny. I was like my wife, asked for opinions and then did the opposite. I really liked the coverall pants and legs, but they just didn't fit right for some reason. His thighs were very far apart and he looked square. Who knows how it will end up, if I figure out a way to fix that issue maybe I'll go back that way. As for the head, I can't find any others that work in my fodder.

You could try the coveralls with this combo, I think they'd look good with the kneepads. But yeah, maybe try the head w/o the stubble?

I completely forgot about this figure in my unopened stash. Much less recognizable as the real guy and after a little skin tone adjustment, I think this may work.

Definite head improvement. I still dig the overalls though, sans suspenders of course.

That did it! That is the head. I also liked the overalls look. Now where did the helmet come from? Need one to make my own Toolbooth!

The helmet is a raginspoon cast.

This is kind of crazy, this version has only the helmet, gun, and sledge in common with the first one I posted. This has more of a vintage feel. The vest is raginspoon and comes with the construction kit he sells, the belt I made from a bandolier in my fodder pile. I think I like this despite not having the overalls involved.

By Jove, I think you've got it!

In the right colors, you've got a winner.

I'm liking the final figure here too. he looks really close and once he gets his colour, he'll look just about right. Don't forget to put his hard hat a rakish angle
