Another interesting thing.....the surprisingly close resemblance the SDCC stickers have to the Cobrasticker Jetfire set that has been out long before the SDCC version was public.

Not really. Considering both were using the original Transformer toy as a model and then adapting that to the modern Skystriker template. I mean, how else are they supposed to arrange the stickers? This is a non-issue.

Concentrating on just the nose section. This pic contains the original TF toy, as you said the SDCC was based on, and a pic of the SDCC version as published by Hasbro, as well as a custom that was made by Air-Tight on Hisstank.com using the Cobrastickers set well before the SDCC version came out. Over a year ago as a matter of fact. Now, to me, the SDCC and Cobrasticker versions look nearly identical and both vary pretty significantly from the angles in the design of the G1 toy. It seems pretty astounding that out of the thousands of patterns they could have chosen when they decided to make the paint scheme different than the G1 toy, that they chose nearly the exact same pattern. All I'm saying is, I think Hasbro is well aware of Cobrastickers and took a few cues from them on this one.

Yeah, I tried to cover up the boosters as best I could and I posted it from work, so they can't track me to my home.

It is very possible they used Cobra Stickers for their label pattern It would be totally silly of them not to. No point in wasting manpower designing a sticker sheet when there is a very nice one available that you have every right to use.
