DeNA and HASBRO are excited to bring Battle Simulator – The Dreadnok Trials event to G.I. JOE: BATTLEGROUND.

What:

The Battle Simulator is online again and this time around, the JOES have control of the Battle Simulator. JOE Squads from around the world are in for a tough challenge with a Dreadnok program that introduces some mean customers including Road Pig, Burn Out and Zanzibar.

These anarchists are going to go all-out on JOE Squads, so bring your "A" game if you want to make it through the truly lethal top floors of this Battle Simulator. Top players will earn the hyperactive and deadly accurate Metal Head to add to their COBRA Squads.

When:

Battle Simulator – The Dreadnok Trials event premieres today, Monday, August 5 through Monday, August 12.

They did not. That was what my cryptic, exhausted post-midnight post above was trying to say.

I wonder if they'll cut it short if and when it does launch.

Hopefully not. I don't want to keep revisiting previous levels in order to rank up.

This happened a few times with Transformers Legends as well. They never cut the days short, it just starts a little late and goes a little late. Gives me some time to level up some doodz.

Since this is a Joe-based event, I'm happy to have as much time as possible to level up my Joe squad. Most of my previous focus had been on my Cobra squad.

In other Battleground news, the new invite reward is an Outback card. I must say, that both versions appear to be some of the worst artwork yet in the game.

Id love the Noks as a faction driving around in a thunder machine

Some serious weirdness going on with the game right now. I click battle simulator info, because the game tells me it's online, and it shoots me into a D&D style dungeon teaser.

No Joe battle simulatin' goin' on, though.

I saw that weird D&D teaser too. When I first got on to the simulator, none of the enemy images would render, and my leader game piece was positioned off the board after I won my first battle (and I couldn't move). Once I restarted the app, everything was fine from then on.

Are there no crates on any of the levels?

Not on any of the levels I've been on, maybe they are using the point levels to get the extras this time around. You seem to get multiples of aid kits, flashbangs, etc, now for every few thousand points.
