As for the homage I guess I'll say accidental. You'll have to let me know what parts give you that feel. I really only know the character marginally so I looked up the wiki and wasn't sure. Must be more character nuance more than plot?

Honestly most of what I wrote was with he purpose of fitting our own ZombieGuide's endeavors into my story. You could call it a tragic story I suppose

Former actor made peace agent of an unimportant station in a somewhat dystopic sci-fi verse, largely because he looked the part,, its broad strokes, sure, but its there. The collared jacket is even reminiscent of Chaykin's design work (Guy Gardner, Flagg, Dominic Fortune, more I'm sure . . . ).

Regardless, cool custom, awesome dio. Stuff like this whittles away at my laziness and makes me want to get back into it . . .

the torso is one of the black Retaliation Cobra Commanders. I may be seeing the sculpt different, but I take it as a tactical vest over the top of a button up shirt. But I will look again - as I suspect I will see it the way you describe it next time

That's the sculpt, sure, but with it monochromatic, it works for both. Look, the sooner you accept my vision the easier it'll be for all of us :p

Took some more pics tonight. Will work on the next few additions to the crew this weekend. In the meantime, a couple of updates.

1) I added a mini-scene to the first post on page 1 (where I showed the Sputnik and JM70 figures)

2) Both those dudes are still at the bar:

The window out into space is my favourite detail of that set.

Space Cowboy and Security guard (Ray) are bueno excellente.

next figure is finished. Just need time for a photoshoot. Kid started kindergarten this week, so been busier than expected.

also, it may be delayed indefinitely if I can't think of a catchy, yet sufficiently cheesy title line. :razz:
