Just got a call from Dollar General. Another box of JOEs are in, probably Wave 2.

Just have to pick them up by Thursday.

Went shopping with the wife, and stopped in a Target that usually never has anything. They only had wave 1 Joes, and about 15 MU Gladiators. I decided to check the whole 6 Star Wars figures they had hanging, and I about fainted. The very back one was a Darth Malgus! Now I only need Shae Visla and Starkiller to complete my set so far. The find made my whole day!

Sounds like Illinois Targets are as bad as the ones in Iowa have become. Shame too, they use to be the best place to check for new stuff.

I did pick up a 4" McFarlane NFL Playmakers Peyton Manning at Target, about three months ago. I believe that was my last "in store" purchase. It's a pretty nice figure, with some great articulation, especially for only $5.99. It needs a couple tweeks, but a really nice overall figure for the price.

An old RISK game at a rummage sale for 25 cents.

Brings back memories of the good old days when we'd sit down and play a few turns before someone got mad and threw the board across the room.

Over the last week or so, I've seen Retaliation 2.5, slowly hitting WM again. Picked up another Dark Ninja last week and saw LJ, Colton, Cyber ninja, etc...at 2 different stores. Only the AV was missing from both stores.

Today saw a whole case of 2.5 at a 3rd stroe and grabbed another DK & AV.

Stopped by a dollar general in Ohio today an picked up cobra trooper (wave 1), trooper. (Wave 2), wave 2 storm shadow and wave 2 duke.
Sadly no wave 2 shipwreck.
I thought I would pass on Duke, but it looked pretty good on the peg. Great base for a Night Force soldier.

So today I went up to the Pageant of Steam to check out the flea market.

Saw only two selling JOEs, but they were ARAH and very ridiculously priced.

Grabbed a few things I did find: a "Hailing Taxi" book about the TV show, a Corps! green camo motorcycle, a Transformers Ratchet lime green fire department hot wheels type car, a Corps figure (hat broken off), a small 1/64 scale (ish) monster truck lower section (wheels, springs, etc), and a RoC Dr Rex (blue coat).

Also got several Star Wars figures: Trinto Duaba, a old Kenner Ewok, a Stormtrooper (has a head that looks like General Zod from the Superman movie), an Imperial Officer (gray uniform w/hat, open-stance), a Luke Skywalker Yavin Ceremony, a Luke Skywalker Jedi (wind swept hair), 2x R2-D2 Clone Wars, a R2-D2 (Dagobah?), and a R2 unit with a blue metal finish.

(If anyone can ID these given the info I've listed, I'd be grateful)

Also picked up some supplies to store figures. Got 10 packs of 100 count 3x5 plastic portion bags, along with 3 keychain caribiners.

I did pretty good at a Dollar General, snagging another v2 Shipwreck and v2 Duke.

At Wal-Mart I grabbed another Firefly (for the ZombiGuide head), a MU Absorbing man (white/black striped pants), 2x red Alley-Vipers, and 2x Dark Ninjas (first time seeing them in person). Also got a Ninja Showdown 3-pack and a Ninja Dojo 3-pack on clearance.

Picked up a wave 1 Storm and a wave 2 DG storm shadow.
They were the only two joes, so I figured what the heck for custom fodder.

Also, in the mail I received Martha Washington Dies comic by Dark Horse/Frank Miller and was utterly disappointed!!

4-5 pages of crap! Maybe I am just not philosophical or deep enough to get it, but I felt gypped. Luckily I got it from amazon marketplace for 2 bucks, plus shipping, still, for the cost of a DG joe, I got a crappy ending to a great series.
