Gung-Ho: bald, shaved or not?

I cut off the hat from a Gung-Ho V2. There's hair sculpted underneath it. Battle Corps Gung-Ho is bald.
The only few comics I read didn't feature him, so I don't know how he was portrayed there. What do you guys think: is he supposed to be bald, shaved or not?

Yeah, re-reading the Marvel run right now, and he has hair in almost all of his early appearances.

I just assumed he shaved it clean before going into the field/jungle so the bugs wouldn't have a place to live.

The super-short buzz cut is what I'd expect him to be sporting most of the time.

V1 Gung-Ho had a hairline sculpted on but unpainted, same as v2.

He was drawn with hair for his first bunch of appearances in Marvel Comics. From his introduction in issue 11 all the way up to issue 22. He was absent from issue 23, and by issue 24 he was bald. I guess he had his barber appointment during the events of issue 23.

I would say that he prefers bald, but he can't shave when in the midst of battle

He was shaved back then ('84), but he's probably bald now.

War wound. He lost his hair when a mission on Cobra Island went bad. Only Snake Eyes knows the whole story, and he's not talking.

I'm gonna go to the Sunbow cartoons on this one, but I would say bald. That was my first introduction to Gung-Ho. Seeing him with anything different just seems odd to me

I prefer him bald like I do Mindbender. It makes them look tougher. :tictoc:

The only problem with "Bicing" it is that you run the chance of getting in in-grown or infected hair, which would be significantly worse than some fleas or lice.

Gung Ho doesn't use a pansy disposable bic. He shaves with his boot knife.

I get ingrown hairs on my face all the time, and I'd take those over lice any day of the week.
