JM, where were you able to buy those?

That Grey Hulk looks pretty great. I had read he was in a case assortment, but I figured it was just a re-release of the old one.

I doubt I'll find these, though. The Blastaar wave never hit around here, save for one Walmart, and that was one set only. Rhino wave is still nowhere to be found. Hasbro is terrible at selling things to these stores.

What I did buy was Passive Hulk

I think his facial expression is more in line with his current protrayal in Avengers Assemble and Hulk and the Agents of SMASH where he's regained his intelligence and is in control of his Hulk form.

Any chance some one can take a picture of the new Rhino figure next to the Avengers Assemble Hulk?

With the size of the new AA Hulk, I'm a little worried about Abomination's size, compared to Hulk figures other than the MU super articulated/Comic Pack version.
He may be a bit smaller than I would prefer. Abomination is one character that I like being a little larger than Hulk.

Bummer to hear about the Rhino/Abomination mold being a little smaller.
Hopefully it's not by too much, or atleast maybe Abomination's head and feet are a good enough size to use on a custom version (I already have an idea or two).

Here ya go, GD. Have a free Grundy inclusion since I just opened him. The shape of Rhino's head and horn bring him right up to Hulk's hairline, but if you go by eye levels he's about 2/3 of a head-height shorter. Dunno how that's gonna play out with Bommy, tho. But, the Rhino buck is *very* nice and well worth getting as any character it gets made as, imho.

It is indeed a very nice looking sculpt but, as I feared, the size is a little disappointing for a character like Abomination.


On a side note, that Grundy looks surprisingly nice. Pretty large, too.

I wouldn't let shortness keep you from getting Bommy or Rhino, imho. Just in time for MU's cancellation, they started getting a lot of stuff right all in the same fig, as usual. Rhino's very nicely detailed and engineered; just a sweet figure all around. Never gave for him beyond being Spidey's jobber-of-the-week, but he ends up in my hands getting fiddled with a lot the past couple weeks.

And Grundy's much nicer than I was expecting, although not w/o flaws. Check what I blathered in the other thread for more details if interested.

I'm really surprised you like that Rhino. It bugs the hell out of me that his hips are restricted.

Yeah, not a fan of that, but they're not really restricted in movement; they just look dumb when rotated around to run and such. I also don't like the lack of the neck hinge, but all his other qualities are pretty sweet and compensate enough to make him worth having, imho.

No, dont get me wrong, I love the figure. It just irks me to no end that I cant get him into a proper charging pose.

I've been doing it quite nicely - given the dumb look of having his thigh muscles in the wrong places - but the actual pose is most cool, imho.
