Good to know...haven't updated yet, but was about to. Maybe since it's designed for ios7, it doesn't work well with 6.
Also, what the hell is 'Revenge'? It's always just a blank screen when I select it. And I got a notice just now about the next event..."Cobra La strikes back" or something...but again, blank screen.
I'm not getting a lockup in my regular battles, but I am getting it in some PvP battles. Against certain players, it will load up a battle screen with my squad, but the other squad does not load, and it never gives me the Engage button to start the battle. However, I was getting that last night even prior to updating the app, so I don't think it is the new upgrade that is necessarily the issue.
I think Revenge is just a blank screen for everyone. It was enabled with the previous app update, but I'm guessing it was a feature that wasn't intended to go live yet.
The Cobra-La Strikes Back splash page was blank last night, but it now has info on it, with a picture of Golobulous surrounded by a couple of Royal Guardsmen. I'm guessing the event will go live tonight, though the splash page didn't give any specific information.
Another fun "feature" is that one of my reward Falcon cards apparently has the Lockdown ability rather than Fire in the Hole. I'm hoping it will resolve itself once I use that card to promote one of my other Falcon cards, but I don't understand how that happened.
Overall, the app is seriously bug-ridden right now. Here are the bugs I've identified, most of which I've also reported to Mobage:
-- Desert Scorpion cannot be captured because no opportunity is presented to capture him after the battle.
-- Some of my PvP battles lock up.
-- The Falcon special ability issue.
-- Revenge does nothing but show a popup with the History title and nothing else.
-- The PvP Ranking screen no longer loads, it just shows the rotating Joe/Cobra token indefinitely (I'm pretty sure this worked prior to the 20130829 build i.e. the previous app upgrade).
But hey, it looks like the Dual Fang attack now hits two random targets rather than just two adjacent targets, so hooray for progress there! My Cobra PvP squad is doing much better against other Cobra squads now that my Zartans have remembered how to execute special attacks. It probably also helped to move Zarana to the right side of my squad so that she doesn't get hit early if somebody's leader Storm Shadow executes Shadow Slash, as a regular hit seems to inflict more damage on her than a hit she takes when counterattacking.
