Yeah, I flat out hate 'Revenge'. And flag points. I'm not naive; I know they have to make money. But this is getting ridiculous. Also, not to be the "THIS GAME IS RIGGED!" guy, but has anyone else found themselves getting ganked on PvP battles? I've been losing to squads I have no business losing to (low level players with low level characters) because they barrage me with wave after wave of their special attacks and my fully upgraded and levelled characters just do basic attacks. Wasn't happening before the Revenge feature was rolled out.
Suddenly the Cobra squad I've been using to clean up event after event can't win three in a row. This is a development over the past few days. Either everyone I'm playing against has gotten a lot tougher a lot faster or something has altered the odds.
Like I said, I'm sticking it out for Bludd. But this isn't even fun anymore.
I've managed to do ok with my Cobra squad, though it does seem that my opponents are spamming vehicle attacks. It seems rare that I don't get hit immediately with Missile Barrage by any squad with the leader Snake Eyes, and the newer Lady Jaye cards are piling up the Raider attacks (I got hit with it three times in one battle yesterday ... and still probably would have won if not for the third attack). I've even seen the jetpack Dukes use Calamity Rockets more than ever.
Spin, I guess you had to take your frustration out on me yesterday.
I've changed my opinion a bit on Revenge, especially if I get someone that I can beat that also nets me big points. But man, I have periods where my Joe squad gets attacked by the entire top 20 of the event within 5 minutes. I can beat some of them, but I'm not even bothering against squads that have two Nemesis Immortals, two Cold Slither Zaranas, and a Resolute Cobra Commander. The new Spirit card looks promising (not that I have one), but it still doesn't really help balance out the power between a Joe and Cobra squad.
I'm probably going to get a double promotion today. At last check, I had over a million points for the day, while the next nearest competitor had around 50,000.
