--------------

Hi, some time ago you probably saw that great WIP Anaconda that our friend Freakintiger @ the Tank is working on. Back in Spring, I asked him if I could borrow his idea. He kindly accepted and told me that I could post the WIP pictures here.

So here's my WIP Anaconda with some test shots for the color pattern. I don't have his skills with styrene, there's still a lot of work to be completed and needs a bit of sanding here and there, but this will give you a good idea.

Thanks again Freakintiger.

since a lot of people questioned the front cockpit and based on Freakintiger's story I had this idea: a harpoon ;-)

I can see this boat having 2 cockpits, but not 3 of them, it sort of takes away from what else you could have added in it's place, very nice wip and work making it to this point.

That is absolutely amazing. Consider my jaw dropped.

Go classic color - all the way.

I know that it's typical cobra, but have you considered maybe adding a bubble on the turret that is directly under the rocket launcher, so that the firing of the rockets doesn't fry the gunner? A rattler turret cover might work for that.

As I said though, fantastic work.

I'd love to see some WIP pictures showing all the modifications. This could be adapted to create something like the airboat seen in Retaliation.

yeah it's something i juggled with. Finally i decided that the front cockpit would be the "navigator/communication" with the 2 in the back would be pilot and co-pilot

i'll think about it, though there's a lot of non-sense in Joe/Cobra universe

I'd suggest inverting the classic Moccasin colors. Mostly black with the green for the guns and fan. Slightly different to make it stand out more but still pay tribute.

I love what you did here. It took a second to sink in how much was modified.

I'm not an expert Joe vehicle guy - so help me out. what parts are modded, what parts are scratch built, etc...

I love the look, no matter how you got there.

I like it. Lots of Fire power. I'm picturing this in maybe Black, Red and Gold Destro special.

Also, are those Threaded inserts for wood panels on the side armaments?

I used 3 fangboat from retaliation line and 1 ROC sting raider (they are practically the same).

here's some WIP pictures before the primer and a part breakdown

I love the build pics even more. That's not a custom, it's an engineering project.

Awesome. Amazing how seamless you made it. How heavy is that thing? Looks like you had to fill an entire cockpit.
