RedClaw aka Terry has stepped down as the admin of YoJoe.com. Taking over is no stranger to the community or, more importantly, YoJoe itself, PJDonnell who has served as the backbone of the archive for several years now. I know most of you won't care and I'm only mentioning it publicly here for two reasons. First, to thank Terry for all of his efforts, not only on the community's most important website for the past 9 years (Valor vs Venom new sculpt era), but also for his commitment to expanding the enjoyment of this hobby from within the community itself. Secondly, to let everyone know to please direct any and all questions, comments, contributions or other correspondence with regards to YoJoe to PJDoneell or the YoJoe Facebook page. I was part of the online Joe community way back when the 1998 Joes were shipping to TRU

I remember one time on the PIT mailing list when Timmer {moderator} banned one member who told another member to shove Dial-Tone up his ass. ahhh memories of bygone eras

Yep, Terry has had a lot of patience and done well through the years. PJ will be fine. He has also done great asmwell and will continue I'm sure.

Hehe, I was there with the Pit mailing list and the newsgroup, but who remembers Compuserve's bulletin board list for GIJoe! It was actually during the same time as the newsgroup, but it was fun for a short while.

And I'm pleased to hear that the Web Site is being maintained by someone who is familiar with the archive. THAT has been an especially valuable resource to me, especially when I need file card details quickly or need to find out which version of someone is which in a hurry.

And yeah, I know Warflight, I remember alt.toys.gi-joe.1980s, I WROTE a lot of the file cards on those 1998 G.I. Joes -- but I don't recall Compuserve's bulletin board...

I dont know who Redclaw is but i do know that Yojoe Archives (and The Bivouac and Joecustoms) have been a small but consistent part of my internet life for many years. I raise a glass to RedClaw for helping to maintain that site as it was and is appreciated.
