From what I can tell Champion uses the Cable buck so slightly different. I hope to tell a difference.

Ok, not to derail the conversation, but what the heck does MU Quato mean? I read the first page so I know it's Cable but outside of this thread I can find nothing to tell me what a quato is or why Cable is being called that. Also, please excuse me if the answer is buried in the 75 thread pages.

Kuato (misspelled Quato, here) was a character from Total Recall, a mutant who was a deformed baby-like-thing growing out of another man's chest. Baby Hope that came with the original Cable looked quite a bit like Kuato.

bah. my Walmarts haven't stocked MU since last year. and Target only has the reshipped figures pegwarming.

Omega Red is absolutely NOT on the Cable body. It would have been MUCH more appropriate for him but nope. Matter of fact I think Nate is still the only character that has used that "buck" so far.

I changed the title of the thread. It wasn't originally intended to be an updated ongoing thread but like Jason, Michael or Freddy, every time you think you've seen the last of it, it keeps coming back stronger than ever.

My walmarts don't have any MU figures. Target had that last black Iron Man with the blue lines, but nothing else. Nothing but Avengers at my Kmart. TRU is now the only game in town for MU.

Does anyone know if the new Avengers Assembled Shield Equipment figures like Red Skull & Falcon are new bucks or are they remakes from the MU line?

Skull is the Cap 1st Av RS body repainted, while near as I can tell, Falcon is all new tooling. Hawkeye is using the A movie HE body. The Leader uses the A movie line Skrull's body. Surprisingly there almost no Marvel Universe proper molds in the SHIELD Equip Assemble line.

NFC covered many of them, but I believe this is a complete list:


-Cap and Red Skull are from the Cap movie line. Red Skull has a new, head and hat, and the coat from an Indiana Jones Toht figure.

-Leader, Hawkeye, and Black Widow are based on molds from the Avengers movie line. Leader and Widow have new heads, and Widow has a new belt. (I think her stingers are the same as the Avengers movie figure's stingers)

-Fury is a repaint of the Avengers movie figure, which is the Cap movie line Winter Soldier figure, with a new head, arms, and coat.

-Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Falcon, are new molds.


Like NFC said, so far there aren't any MU molds being used in the Avengers Assemble line.
