  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

Chief pointed this out to me on Facebook and all I can say is wow. This thing is awesome. Yes the asking price is high, but scroll down and enlarge the detail pics before commenting about that. Oh and have a napkin ready to wipe up your drool.

that thing is awesome. I'm looking at it to see if there are any parts that I recognize, but most of it looks original. This guy does good work.

Yeah, I thought a Naboo Royal Starship with RoC Night Raven parts at first, maybe a Toybiz X jet too for the front and wings. But then you see the inside and see how much of the structure and paneling is all scratch built. Then you see the interior design and realize all of that is custom. If it isn't 100% scratch built, then he severely gutted the shell of something and it is 95% scratch built.

That's frickin' awesome. Somebody really worked to get that built, and my hat's off to them.

When I build mine it'll be more like the Blackbird I remember from the comics, but mad props to the builder. That took some serious skills.

Price looks pretty dead on to me. The only question is how long it takes for him to find someone with the scratch to buy it. If he has 100 hours into it (which would not be a surprise to me if he had more) that would only make him making $20 an hour and that is not even taking into account his parts and supplies. Less then $20 an hour for someone with this kind of skill is kinda insulting.

Well there he lists it at 120 hours so after supplies his time would really only be worth $15 an hour. Price seems cheap when you take that into consideration.
