No fancy write up for this project as I just wanted to make a background to photograph my fantasy-based customs.

I recognize the AvP dio background - what comprises the rest of the set? Did you cobble together a bunch of items from other pieces, or are some of then scratch-built?

This is beyond awesome - I want to copy the crap out of it.

Lots of stuff.

81 "Army Of Darkness" stands and 2 Deadite Skeletons
pieces from a high density foam wine display
pieces cut from a trio of "Van Helsing" castles
"Alien Vs Predator" base pieces
"Indiana Jones" torches
various greebles
lots of time

The AoD tiling job you did is just incredible.

Chiefs right about the tiling. That's ridiculous. Awesome all over.

That is incredible. I just love it. I thought about doing something similar a couple of years back, but never had the funds or time.. You have created a masterpiece. The use of Barriss Offee as a Priestess is inspired. Wish I had thought of that.

I LOVE THIS. This is rockage to the stratosphere. I soooooo would love to have my Predator altar hooked up with those Cthulu faces. It screams like some sort of Mind Flayer altar which my Drow gals would sacrifice ten menfolk for.

Heck, that altar could be used for Skyrim stuff too, since Miraak from the Solsthiem part of Legendary Dragonborn is all "squiddy" from dealing with Hermaeus Mora.

Seriously, I dub thee "Lord of the Bitz". No one can cobble miscellaneous bits into things that look like industry wishes like you Dan.

I agree the AoD figure stands for floor tiling is a really smart use for all of those. I really like how this turned out.

Thanks guys!

The sacrifice figure is from my "Cult Of Cthulhu" line (and she'd not nekkid, the flash just washed out her white outfit) made from an Ayy Vida (sp?) figure from AOTC with an AOTC Lake District Outfit Padme head.

I really LOVE how this dio turned out and how figures look when photographed in it. I have 2 more planned but they will have to wit until the spring as all of my dio parts are out in the garage (which has no heat).
