My wife surprised me with a pair of K-Mart exclusive Scanning Crew sets (1 of each set) as a pre-Christmas present!

Stopped at Target and found a Blastaar with yellow hands. Not sure if it is the variant or not.

Grabbed a unmasked Avengers Hawkeye for an Aaron Cross WIP.

Also in the mail I got 5 packaging-crushed Star Wars figures from amazon (3x Black Series Biggs and 2x Black Series Biker Scout). Since I paid less than $3 each and the figures are all intact, I'm not too worried.

Also got a package from blueblikeboy1 (another package!!!). Bought six of the A-Team knock-offs: Dr. Care http://actionfiguresca.proboards.com/thread/4763, Slugger http://phryz.com/american-force/8719-sl ... -inch.html, a blond rough looking biker type (someone used the head for a Dreadnok), and three other ones.

Don't feel bad 'Dnok. I haven't seen a single Professor X either, with three Targets, two Walmarts, one KMart, and a ToysRUs. Even the Disney store in the mall, which had the MU X-Men set varients(translucent NightCrawler) on a super sale in the middle of this year no longer carries the line in that scale.

Pity too, as I was going nuts trying to figure what to get Rob for our usual Xmas run, until I got the idea to make his favorite Doctor, the 10th one with the great head that Sean gave me at SlayerCon2. Got plenty of sneakers from the ROC/POC figures that had them. But never found the Professor, even at the places like BBTS and SJ which would have been a bit more than I care to go above the MSRP.

stopped In TRU and got 9 Kre-o Blind packs, Two bats, land adven, Ripper, Slice, Blowtorch, Mutt, flash, and a Bludd. No Bender thought. they had the Temple set but couldnt pull the trigger at $80 yet.

I got the Amazon exclusive Boba Fett Slave 1 and holy crap is it awesome. I've been wanting a good Slave 1 for years (the closest I could find was the Target exclusive from a few years ago that I missed and sells for huge money on ebay) and this is perfect. The best part is, I ordered it for myself when it went on sale for $35, and with my Prime membership it was supposed to get here by Christmas Eve. It got rerouted or something, so I didn't get it until today (no big deal), but Amazon sent me an apology email with a $20 gift card to make up for the disappointment, so I essentially got it for $15.

holy hell, that's awesome (note to self, order stuff Dec. 22 next year...lol). I passed at $35, but kind of wish I'd nabbed it for a future birthday present for one of the boys. What was the original price? But yeah, for an effective price of $15? sheesh.

I think it was $60-$70 originally. Probably worth it, too. It's huge, well detailed, and not bogged down in 'play' features.

I bought my Slave I for full price, shortly after it was released, and don't regret it one little bit.

I've been waiting for this repaint ever since the Jango version was released in that TRU Clone Wars set.
