Hmm...yeah, I can see that, especially knowing there was a Hyperion and Grim Reaper in the works. I can only hope that $15 is a typo, too...cause if not, I'm out of that line.

Yeah, If they really do bump the price up to $15 per 4" figure, I will not be in to this line like I was with Marvel Universe.

That's comic shop prices though which are always higher.

The only one I really want is Wasp, and since I'm not a big fan of that current female buck, it won't hurt my feelings if I don't get it.

So wait, we can actually pre-order the figures we want, through a local comic shop, for the 14.99 price? Am I reading that right?

Maybe this isn't anything new, but it's news to me.

If your comic shop deals in toys. Some don't. And some require you to order by the case.

Yeah, your comic shop would have to get a case, so the chances of them selling you a single specific figure at retail is unlikely. They'd be likely to do the same thing as bbts. Mark up the short packed figures to offset the ones they won't be able to move.

My local shop actually sells them basically at cost. I think they only ever order one case though. I picked up Prof X and Jubilee for 11$ back when that wave first hit early this year (or was it fall of 2012?). I think retail was still about 8.99 at that time.

I kind of figured maybe the owner collected and would get a case--take the figs he wanted and then just sell the extras. I might ask them about next time I'm in.

I did it a couple times w/ cases of 25A Joes. I found Diamond was about 6 weeks behind the initial brick store sightings. Unless you've already got a good relationship w/ the comic shop, they may not even do it for you, too.

Saw the new Cap 2 and Spidey 2 figues at TRU today. Electro looks okay, but not worth ten bucks...the other three figures in the line are variations of Spider-Man, which is something we've seen enough of. Red Skull and Winter Soldier look better in person than in pics, but again, not worth the cash. New suit Cap is a neat blueish grey, but besides that, not worth it...and another Cap looks like the Avengers in brighter colors.

I actually like that packaging. Besides Iron Man, the posing isn't too bad for warped limbs, either, which I love. Wasp, Grim Reaper and Hyperion are must haves. Even the Hulk is intriguing, though since I'm not into current comics, I don't get why he looks like that.
