A last-weekend entry, using some more of the IronWill Fodder:

I know pluv doesn't like the head choice: I originally had this RodimusVTS Hellboy animated cast to use for a Renegades Destro, but then I got a different head for that, so I decided to use the Hellboy for this Steel custom ... I think the problem is in the way I painted the eyes ... I should have just gone full white, with a blue wash, maybe taken the horns completely off -

Thoughts?

I liked this custom a lot my Daughters loved this custom...except the head. They think with a different head you would have cleaned our clocks.
I liked the head and wished I had one I think it would make a cool Robotman.
The hammer is inspired

I like the head. It looks like something a guy would have made in his workshop.

He got my vote. I liked the head, it reminds me of something from my childhood I can't quite place, it gave me a nostalgic feeling but I can't pin it down. And the hammer was just great.

Very nicely done! I never cared much for the story line that brought this and the other Superman wannabes, but I can definitely appreciate a well executed figure. Especially one from fodder bin parts! Great work again, bro.

that came together tremendously well. you would never guess, looking at the final result, of the pieces you used to get there.

If I'm understanding your comment, that you made this at the last minute before the deadline, it's all the more impressive, as it doesn't look like it was an easy one at all.

great paint apps, doesn't even look like the base figures parts you used. The hammer is really a nice idea. Well done

Thanks for all the nice comments, guys -

Yeah, this was a last minute entry into the contest - I worked on it on the Friday before deadline, and then went away until Sunday night - I've got this custom sitting on a shelf, and the more I look at it, the more it's growing on me, and not making me regret grinding up that DC Supes for his tech detail.

Also, thanks to RodimusVTS for offering up that Hellboy head sculpt ...

I don't like the - oh, nevermind.

:hijm70:

I like that hammer a ton though. In your hand it looks too big for a figure. In the custom's hand it looks "super" which is what I think the character warrants.
