Well, considering that this is largely an Eco-Warriors set, it made sense that the design would be based on Toxo-Viper v2.

The figure itself looks pretty good. The new helmet is definitely a winner! I am really surprised that the Club didn't use the 25th Zartan lower legs, as those seem like a near perfect match to the original figure (though I understand the desire to use newer parts too).

All this eco stuff was after my time, so it has no nostalgic value for me, having said that, I think this is an OK figure, as was Ozone and Flint, but I just have no desire to ever own this stuff. The new helmets are definitely cool. Looking forward to those hitting the casting market so I can play around with them.

To b-i-thomas, after hearing an interview with one of the club guys, the 25th Zartan lower legs may not have fit the upper legs and/or knees they used. I know I have to alter knees and upper and lower legs quite a bit when mixing stuff together, even from the same series of figures. I have even given up on a couple that would have looked great, but just didn't fit right.

I'm just as glad it isn't a V1 design, as I always liked the V2 Toxo-Viper better. However, I'm a little surprised it ISN'T a V1 design, as I rather expected something like that could've been pulled from the Volcano-Viper/Hazard-Viper molds. Maybe that was a little too obvious.

I'm impressed with this figure, especially the all-new helmet. I'm assuming the torso is recolored from something from Rise of Cobra?

The torso was 30th iron grenadier, I think. And Poc arctic destro?

Whoops! Okay. My mistake. It just had this sort of futuristic armored look to it that looked like might've come from RoC.

I don't know if it's because there is no other Joe stuff in stores now, if it's because the zombies will cost about the same as what the regular carded ones seems to go for on the secondary market, or if its because this set is just silly fun, but I'm actually considering ordering this set.

Disappointed it's V2. V1 has way more character but I appreciate v2 fits in timewise with the eco warriors better. If the rest of the set is solid, I'll still go for it.
